A London based automotive retailer (Cargiant) is looking to acquire a dedicated apprentice Paint technician who would be interested in working towards a Level 3 in Vehicle Damage Paint apprenticeship standard.

As an apprentice, you will be mentored alongside experienced paint and body technicians where you will learn to prepare, repair and paint vehicles to a very high standard.

**Duties will include**:

- Be able to prepare, spray and finish vehicles using the latest bodyshop technology
- Ensuring correct colour match and final finish to the vehicle to meet customer expectations
- The role includes surface repairs including preparation and painting to manufacturers specifications
- Work as part of a team under supervision
- Acquire the ability to select and use modern paint techniques including lacquers, whilst using modern equipment and painting processes

**Training to be provided**:

- Level 3 Vehicle Damage Paint Technician Apprenticeship Standard
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths if required

**Career Progression**:

- Upon completing the apprenticeship, you may wish to progress on to a Level 3 Panel Repair Technician or expand your interest into custom art paint graphics such as paint airbrushing techniques or specialist bespoke paint techniques
- Other opportunities available will be a Level 4 management role and vehicle assessor

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: From £14,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
