**Payroll Administrator**

**Location**:Jewellery Quarter B18

**Hours**: 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

**Location**:Jewelry Quarter Central Birmingham.

**We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised individual to take on the role of Payroll Administrator.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Process monthly payroll for employees using our payroll software
- Review and records for accuracy
- Calculate and process payroll deductions
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations
- Respond to contractors an d employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner
- Generate payroll reports for management as needed
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned

**Experience / Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working in payroll administration
- Proficiency with payroll software
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Certified or working towards Payroll Professional (CIPP) desired, not essential

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational skills to manage office tasks effectively
- Proficiency in data entry to input information accurately
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems such as filing and recordkeeping
- Ability to type efficiently to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Familiarity with computerized systems for office organization
- Excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients and colleagues
- Experience with Sage / QuickBooks for financial management tasks
- Proficiency in using Google Suite for office productivity tasks
