As the Head Cook, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the kitchen and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. **Duties**:
- Manage and supervise the kitchen staff, including cooks and other kitchen personnel
- Oversee meal preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards
- Monitor food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and create new dishes
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience working in a bar/restaurant
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Excellent cooking skills and ability to prepare a variety of dishes
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
**Salary**: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:
- Chef: 3 years (preferred)
- Cooking: 3 years (preferred)
- Kitchen experience: 3 years (preferred)
