LABOURER/TRAINEE OPERATIVE

We’re expanding our dedicated team and are in search of the best and the brightest to follow an in house training program that will equip you to lay metal deck sheets in preparation for concrete floors and insulation on roofs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a variety of tools and equipment such as disc cutters and hilti nails guns - Learn to erect safety nets
- Work confidently at heights.
- Collaborate seamlessly with our small diverse team.
- Occasionally stay away from home during the week. (Though rare across the year, flexibility is a must.)

**What We Require**:

- **Experience**: While not mandatory, prior experience or comfort with tools will be an advantage. We offer comprehensive training to ensure our team members are equipped for success.
- **CSCS Card & Full UK Driving License**: Vital for your role with us.
- **Location Flexibility**: Ability to join our site team at diverse locations from

Harwich and along the A12 corridor to London prepared to meet and catch a lift into site locations on a daily basis - if not staying away on location.
- **Working at Heights**: You must be comfortable with this aspect of the role.
- **The right attitude**:the correct working ethic is a must.

**Benefits & Terms**:

- **Probation Period**: All new team members will undergo a 3-month probationary period to ensure a mutual fit.
- **NVQ2 Qualification in metal deck SW & FASET safety net rigger NVQ -** on successful completion of probatory period
- **Stay-Away Allowance**: For the few times in the year when overnight stay away from home is needed, we’ve got you covered with 4* plus accommodation and food allowances

- **Start Rates of pay range from £24k to £30k per annum**:

- **28 days holidays per year**

**Position**: Site Operative **Working Days**: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday

**Start Date**: immediate **Location**: Multiple sites between Harwich and the A12 corridor to London, sometime wider South East locations throughout East Anglia and surrounding London counties
