**Job Title: Bar person**
**Location**: Central London
**Contract**: Full Time

**The Position:
- **We are looking for Barperson for our restaurant.
**MISSIONS**:
Assist the Bar Manager to plan, organize and direct all processes of the Bar operations to ensures the bar provides quality beverages in a clean and tidy workspace and deliver consistent service in line with the Standard Opening Procedures and achieves maximum revenue and profit in line with the budget and forecast.
**MAIN RESPONSABILITIES**:
- Adhere to and support the Quality Standards.
- Assists the Head Bartender/Bar Manager in the best practice and continuously seeks to improve existing standards and procedures.
- Ensures financial performance of the operation by controlling all finance related documents, verifies correctness of invoices and guest checks
- Preparing bar mise en place as per opening and closing checklists
- Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant.
- Assessing bar customers’ needs and preferences and making recommendations
- Interacting with guests, taking orders and serving bar snacks and drinks
- Ensures suggestive selling to the guests
- Is up to date with latest drinks and cocktail fashion, mixes as per standard, controls and checks quality of ingredients, follows recipes
- Ensure adherence to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with company policy.
- Supervises table/bar management, side station management as per standard, directs bar attendants as per requirement
- Follows all hygiene requirements ISO, monitors cleanliness in his work area and ensures cleaning of those areas as per standards
- Remains in his or her area, approachable to both guest, employees and peers during operations
- Works as a team, liaises and coordinates with team, peers and other managers of the Food and Beverage division
- Any other duties as assigned
**Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements**
- Previous experience in a similar job role (Bartender). WSET Level 2 or similar bar courses
- Worked in in similar position for at least 2 years on the same venue/brand, needs to have experience in ALC restaurants, also high-volume Bar/Restaurants over 200 guests per venue (if applicable).
- International experience
- Outgoing, confident, good communication skills with the right attitude, who is flexible and a great team player who works well under pressure analytical thinking, sincere and dependable
- Leads by example and team player
- Dynamic, energetic, creative individual with a positive “can do” attitude.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Self-motivated, committed, and passionate about F&B
- Multi-tasking capability without compromising on quality.
- Excellent communication skills and good written business English
- Good all-round business admin skills
- Good acumen on new worldwide market trends
- Experience in managing beverage costs and inventory control
- Languages: English, French (Italian, German or Spanish : optional)
