Farm worker wanted for a dairy, beef and sheep farm. We have 140 cows calving all year round, milking on 2 Lely A5 robots. Cows are housed in the winter and grazed in the summer. We rear all beef calves and our own replacements. We lamb 240 EasyCare sheep outdoors in April. Typical hours are 6.45am - 6pm, with the option to have the middle of the day off depending on workload. Applicant must be confident around cows and sheep, be punctual, be physically fit, and work in a safe and tidy manner. Tasks will include; cleaning robots, fetching cows, feeding calves, bedding up and feeding livestock, fencing, livestock handling, tractor driving etc. A degree of lone working is required at times. Experience is preferred but full training will be provided. Pay based on experience and qualifications. Applicant must have full UK driving license. Rota can be flexible, but applicant must be willing to work every other weekend. Full time employment offered with paid holiday. No accommodation. Would suit a local person due to working hours.
