We are looking for a fun, kind and caring Early Years Assistant who has a real passion for the children to join our lovely, well-established private day nursery. If that's you we would love to hear from you We are based in the heart of Banstead with a beautiful spacious garden and connected to great transport links.

As an Apprentice your main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Developing and maintaining professional relationships with parents and carers

Supporting children with their individual personal hygiene needs

Providing effective and regular feedback to parents on their child’s day, personal development and any other relevant information

Ensuring a bright and stimulating attractive room with colourful appropriate activities and displays showing children’s work

Assisting with care, maintenance and security of all equipment and toys within the nursery

Supervising children at all times indoors and outdoors including mealtimes and snack breaks

Undertake training such as a Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare and Education.

**Salary**: apprentice wage dependent on age

Schedule: shifts from 0800 1700 or 0900 1800

Day shift

Monday to Friday

No weekends

We have named persons within the nursery who take lead responsibility for safeguarding.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £8.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
