**Two vacancies available - 1 x full time (37 hours per week) and 1 x part time (22 hours per week).** Responsible for the day to day delivery of the lettings function ensuring that tenancies are terminated and empty properties are re-let as soon as possible and ensuring the effective implementation of the Council’s tenancy policies. To ensure that prospective and new tenants and customers are at the heart of all services and to demonstrate a commitment to the development and implementation of the Council’s customer frameworks.
- Identify, advertise and allocate private sector rental properties.
- Provide advice, assistance and support to housing applicants, private sector tenants and landlords in order to prevent and reduce homelessness.
- Delivery of an effective and appropriate service to all service users, fairly and without discrimination.

**Specific Role Requirements” - to give yourself the maximum chance of success please try and ensure your CV addresses the following essential criteria**:

- Substantial **recent** experience in housing lettings and tenancy creation/termination procedures and processes, preferably within a similar social housing role and ideally within a public sector organisation
- Experience in office administration and the collation of statistics for performance returns
- Able to undertake visits/inspections as required
- Mobility across the Borough
- ICT Skills: IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite)
