Operating from our 37,000sqft warehouse in Bicester we are looking for a General Manager to ensure the smooth daily running of all transport/warehouse operations, taking full responsibility for all delivery, collections, and distribution activities.

You will have extensive knowledge within UK pallet distribution and previous experience of managing a busy distribution operation in addition to managing budgets and KPI’s.

**Duties**:

- Ensuring the safe operation of all pallet distribution across the depot and maintaining strict Health & Safety standards.
- Establish and monitor KPI’s and performance targets.
- Maintain vehicle and driver records to ensure all working time regulations are adhered too.
- Managing a diverse workforce that covers administration, warehouse and drivers.
- Build positive relationships with customers and ensuring a high standard of customer service.
- Driving continuous improvement and a positive culture throughout the depot.
- Responsibility for all recruitment.

Our operation includes 10 HGV vehicles with further scalability. We are looking for an effective communicator who strives to offer the very best service to our customers whilst maintaining high standards of working practices and recognises that our staff are at the very centre of a successful operation

**Salary**: £40k Per annum plus kpi bonus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £40,000.00 per year
