Job description

**Position**: **Mobile Plant Mechanic / Fitter**

**NPH (Newmarket Plant Hire)** is a multi-depot independent Plant Hire Group and currently has a vacancy for a Mobile Plant Mechanic / Fitter at our Kings Lynn Depot. Reporting directly to the workshop Supervisor you will be required to diagnose faults, repair, service and prepare for hire our full range of plant & tools equipment.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Experience with diesel / petrol engines, hydraulic machinery and electrics.

Ensure job sheets, pre hire sheets and all associated paperwork are completed promptly and efficiently.

Ensure Health & Safety and Company procedures are met at all times.

Be reactive and punctual at all times.

Have the ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team.

**EXPERIENCE**

CITB/NVQ qualification preferred but not essential.

Previous Plant/Tool Hire experience is essential, with a full and varied knowledge of a cross section of plant machinery.

Full UK driving license.

**Job Details**

Hours of work will be 47.5 hour basic per week Mon-Fri, but overtime may be required to meet business demands.

Company vehicle to be supplied.

Holidays 30 days per year inclusive of statutory bank holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £26,500.00-£29,500.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Plant Fitting: 2 years (required)
- Powered Access machine repair & Maintenance: 2 years (required)
