DHL, an award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Drivers Mate to play a vital role in our daily distribution requirements. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures, with a committed attitude to Continuous Improvement, ultimately ensuring that all order deliveries are handled safely and in a timely manner.

***WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?**

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices plus a high level of customer service, you will undertake the manual handling, distribution and coordination of timely deliveries to a strict schedule and deadline. You will be supporting the Driver in making deliveries of furniture and white goods. We offer a room of choice delivery - which may require taking item up stairs. We offer a installation service for white goods (training provided)
- Previous practical experience as a Drivers Mate, within a logistics or similar environment.
- Previous experience of the preparation, distribution and handling of volume orders.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
- Supporting drivers with directions and paperwork

A recognised qualification in Manual Handling or Logistics will be well received.
