Balgownie Ltd have been proudly serving the agricultural, construction and groundcare industries in the North of Scotland since 1907. We currently have an exciting and challenging vacancy for a Warranty Administrator to join our depot based in Inverurie.

As a Warranty Administrator for Balgownie Ltd, you will be responsible for the effective claiming and processing of warranty work.

**KEY DUTIES**
- Being involved in every aspect of the warranty and goodwill policy and procedure.
- Receive all job cards and input all claim details i.e. labour item codes, parts numbers, photographic evidence and downloads to produce warranty claims and transmit to the warranty manufacturer, ensuring that all claims are transmitted within a timely manner.
- Ensuring full compliance with manufacturer’s warranty claims, processes and procedures.
- Processing credits from the manufacturers on approval of claims.
- Identify from warranty returns, parts for return and those for disposal, informing parts department of action required.
- Check any claims rejected and resubmit errors or in conjunction with the Service Manager, investigate and advise why rejected.
- Return documentation for rejected warranty items for re-costing to Service Manager.
- Responsibility for filing/archiving of all claims and documentation
- Suggesting improvements to increase efficiency and service

**KEY SKILLS**

- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Technical / mechanical knowledge desirable.

- Financial awareness.
- Numeracy and data handling.
- Problem solving and decision making skills.

Our software system is unique to machinery dealer businesses and full training will be provided. Applicants must be capable of using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook to perform their general duties.
