Title: Activities Co-ordinator
Purpose: Responsible for the Social Well Being and Mental
Stimulation of all Resident’s
Responsible to: Care Manager/Deputy Manager

**Responsibilities**:
1. To ensure all Residents are kept socially active at all times.
2. To organise in house activities for all residents.
3. To facilitate external entertainment where necessary.
4. To ensure awareness of Homes’ Activities budget and to stay within limits at all times.
5. To communicate with Care Manager/Deputy Manager regarding Activities and Entertainment to ensure smooth running of Home.
6. Organisation and arrangement of Outside Trips and events, this includes booking of transport and obtaining permission from family members.
7. To ensure key national events are celebrated and advertised.
8. To ensure all Residents birthdays are celebrated and advertised.
9. To ensure regular tea parties are held and new admissions are invited to a welcome tea.
10. To organise, advertise and arrange Fund Raising events regularly throughout the year.
11. Ensuring all Activities are mentally stimulating and individual to each residents needs.
12. To adhere to Standard 12 of the National Minimum Standards.
13. To ensure all Religious and Cultural needs are met.
14. To ensure all Homes’ Activities are advertised and displayed and kept in date and regularly updated.
15. To liaise with Residents and Residents Friends/Family regarding past Social Activities and what they enjoy doing.
16. To ensure Residents Care Plans are completed and all Activities are recorded as they occur.
17. To complete an Activities Training course with Support and Development Manager.
18. To escort Resident’s with appointments when necessary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
