**Role: Head of Design

**Salary**: £80'000 - £90'000
Location: 1 day per week in Bristol or Cardiff**

As the Head of Design for this household brand, you will be leading the Design function across Service, UX, and UI Design, focussing on end-to-end value streams, and launching innovative products. You'll be involved from proposition development to executingnew products and services.

**Experience**:

- Experience as a practitioner delivering end-to-end projects, and leading design projects and teams
- Designing services from proposition through to launch and exploitation whilst prioritising projects that are validated to be desirable, feasible and viable
- Prioritising tasks when working on various projects, making intelligent and intuitive decisions when needed
- Working with agile / sprint cross-functional teams, of product, engineering, design, analysts, etc and communicating the creative vision, concepts, and solutions to stakeholders, teams, and customers
- Collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval
- Confident in practising Design Thinking and able to move from design thinking to doing simultaneously. You are excited about experimenting in real-life environments, along with an openness to new ways of prototyping and testing products and services; alwayswith a goal to develop innovative solutions to problems that matter to customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Helping to shape the end-to-end, congruent customer experience and holistic product strategy across all touchpoints
- Working with senior stakeholders to create design plans and roadmaps
- Leading the overarching design strategy, planning and design system across all products. Whist leading, building, mentoring, and hiring talent
- Collaborating closely with the Chief Product Officer on product journeys (on Web and App), and Chief Growth Officer on media and content journeys; and helping steer the business towards a uniting vision
