Electrical Duty Holder - Full Time - Birmingham, United Kingdom

Sulzer are looking for a proactive Electrical Duty Holder to work in collaboration with Service Centres throughout the UK from Aberdeen to Southampton. Working independently, you will engage with employees at all levels to ensure compliance and electrical safety. Driving current industry best practice and establishing consistent and safe methods of working on or near electrical systems.

This is a remote working opportunity, but it will require travel throughout the UK.

**Your main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain safe systems of work
- Ensure systems are put in place and are robust, accessible and understood
- Develop a continuous improvement plan to ensure reliable and efficient operation of electrical equipment and plant
- Create and manage the maintenance program for service centres
- Supporting the network with technical queries pertaining to electric motor repair
- Provide technical support with testing and the analysis of results

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- IET Wiring regulations: BS7671: 18th edition
- C&G 2391-52 - installation & Inspection and test
- C&G 2382 - Electrical Installations
- Good comprehension of the Electricity at Work Regs 1989
- Duty Holder Training
- Pro-active and inquisitive mindset.
- Ability to comply with all Safe Working Procedures, Risk Assessments, Permits to Work etc,
- Competent in creating reports and presentations.
- Must be prepared to travel to various UK Sulzer locations

**Location**: We are based in Birmingham. It has immediate access to the Midlands motorway network with direct links into Birmingham City Centre.
