**Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;**
**The storeman will predominately be required to support the electrical team and have, or develop, an understanding of electrical components related to the street lighting and lit sign service. Support for the civil engineering team will also be required when their dedicated storeman is on leave or busy.**

**Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;**
**The role includes the following: Pick the stock items required for the refurbishment team on a daily basis, working with the program manager and supervisors to ensure all parts are available and ready. Monitor stock levels and carry out stock counts as required. Update the stock control App and raise orders for stock items as required to maintain minimum stock levels required. Monitor PPE levels and issue PPE to operatives in accordance with the company policy and process.**
**Maintain the yard to ensure no trip hazards are left. Maintain the internal and external storage areas to be tidy at all times.**

**Formal qualifications required;**

**Skills required;**
**User of Word and Excel is an advantage.**
***
**Experience required;**
**Previous experience in a storeman role would be beneficial.**
**Some previous electrical experience would be beneficial.**

**Knowledge;**
**Some electrical knowledge would be beneficial.**
***
**Personal qualities;**
**Somebody who is organised and likes things to be tidy is essential**
