Adecco are currently recruiting for a
**Research Administrator Assistant **to join a prestigious and world-famous university based in Uxbridge, hourly pay rate £15.21.

**Duration**:ASAP - 6 - 12 weeks (high potential of being extended)

**Working pattern**:21 hours per week (very flexible on the breakdown), fully onsite for the first few weeks for training then on a hybrid basis

**Contract type**:Temporary

**Roles and responsibilities**

**Research Support and Administration**
- Liaise with and support the Research Administrators and the College Research Manager and other professional staff as required.
- Carry out operational administrative procedures to support academic staff and researchers across the College in the day to day running of their research projects using University systems and in line with University policies and procedures.
- Travel and catering bookings, procurement (requests for goods or services, goods receipting), support for research meetings and events, etc.

**Research Strategy**
- Support the activities of the 8 College Research Centres (meeting support, seminar series, events such as research days and conferences) as required.
- Support the development and promotion of the College's research portfolio and plans and in building a research culture and ethos.

**Data Management**
- Ensure records are accurate in content and timeliness.

**Experience**
- Proven experience working in an administrative role
- Experience in Higher Education Administration or in a comparable large organisational setting.
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of administrative and organisational skills
- High level of IT literacy, numeracy and literacy
