**Job Description Summary**: Final Inspectors are responsible for ensuring all product leaving GE Aerospace has been through the correct manufacturing operations and test requirements before going into finished goods. A Final Inspector needs to have fantastic attention to detail to make sure all products are conforming before shipping to the customer and being fitted into an aircraft.

Final Inspection also includes reading drawings, analysing test specifications and results, visual checks and many more activities on a variety of products.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
This role is for a Final Inspector working as part of the Avionics team; focused on the manufacturing and assembly of aircraft parts for civil and military programmes.

The role will include a range of tasks, ensuring products have been manufactured and tested to the correct specifications before shipping to the customer. Our Final Inspectors use business systems to check all documentation and visually inspect the units to ensure our products ship to the highest quality. The successful applicant should demonstrate flexibility and work effectively as part of a larger multi-disciplined team.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Great attention to detail to ensure products are conforming to internal and external procedures
- Read and follow manufacturing plans
- Ensure Quality adherence to the finest details
- Awareness of Health & Safety regulations and policies to ensure everyone is safe within the workplace
- Follow daily manufacturing metrics
- Participate in lean activities and other initiatives
- Support manufacturing delivery needs
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve delivery targets and meet customer requirements
- Complete manufacturing paperwork and job cards
