Sr. Masterplanner

Overview:
Our London office is seeking a talented and motivated mid-weight Masterplanner to join our Hospitality studio. The role requires an all-round ability to be able to work from concept to detailed design on large scale masterplans mainly hospitality-led projects. The role presents an opportunity to take on projects with the world’s leading hotel operators and developers working alongside a fantastic multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

- Imagine, investigate and present design solutions for medium to large scale masterplans
- 3D & 2D modeling and technical drawings (plan, sections and elevations)
- Produce analysis, diagrams and illustrative materials
- Produce scale comparison & precedent studies
- Preparation of presentations, reports, models, schedules and documents
- Assist in the coordination of design team activities
- Attends client meetings/ project reviews
- Assisting in landscape projects as required

Qualifications:

- Mid-weight experience in landscape architecture / urban design
- Experience in international masterplanning projects
- Knowledge of urban design theories and placemaking principles
- Knowledge of the principles, methodology and practices of research and mapping data
- Experience in working in a multidisciplinary environment
- Experience in creatively solving design challenges
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, MS Office (GIS or Rhino an advantage)
- Postgraduate Degree in Urban Design / Landscape Architecture
- Strong communication skills in English (proficiency in another language an advantage)
- The ability to multi-task and pick up ways of working quickly and work to deadlines.
