GPU Engineer - Software
Permanent, Full-time
Cambridge, (5 days in office)
You'll work closely with software and hardware architects and other teams to evaluate performance and understand the implications on hardware design and software architecture.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design and develop new features of 3D Graphics API.
- Drafting new API extensions and writing specification.
- Prototyping interface changes and proposals
- Propose changes to GPU architecture
**Key Skills**:
- C++ development experience
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies: Vulkan, OpenGL ES, Metal, DirectX11 or 12 and/or OpenCL.
- A deep understanding of GPU architectures
- Good knowledge of graphics rendering pipeline (rasterization and ray-tracing)
**Desired**:
- Sound knowledge of graphics rendering pipeline (rasterization and ray-tracing)
- Knowledge of neural rendering, raytracing and mesh shading pipeline is plus.
- Creativity and ability to effectively communicate ideas.
- Comfortable working on immature technologies and following up the latest advances in science
- C/C++ programming experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, well organized and good team player
