As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a **MRO Buyer/Planner **in our business located in Leighton Buzzard.
- Place & manage purchase orders for materials
- Monitor status of incoming purchase orders
- Expedite urgent requirements
- Create and monitor MRO outside processing orders
- Advise on recovery of shortages to customer orders
- Facilitate integration of new designs into inventory
- Determine appropriate initial stocking levels for special/new programs
- Validate correct parts are called out for repairs
- Periodic review of Excess & Obsolete inventory
- Keep lead times aligned to supplier commitments
- Periodic ABC analysis for material planning
- Maintain ramp rates & buffer stock for changes in demand
- Run & Monitor metrics to target problem area

**What you need to succeed?**

**Essential Criteria**:

- Experience working within a busy procurement department.
- MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) packages.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
