Payroll Coordinator

We are looking for a motivated permanent Payroll Coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for the processing of the fortnightly and four weekly employee related compensation data and ensuring all payments to the employees are accurate and in a timely manner.
- **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**_
- Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable earnings.
- Determines payroll liabilities by calculating employee income and national insurance taxes and employer's national insurance payments.
- In conjunction with HR set up of new starters on Sage Payroll and Focus (T&A)
- Maintaining all employee data on an ongoing basis in all systems, including new holiday years and data amendments
- Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.
- Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Ensure all payroll related accounting entries are made on a timely and accurate basis.
- Creating payroll journals in our ERP system (D365)
- Completing ONS reports and when required.
- Completing cycle to work requests and administration
- Assisting the Payroll Manager with ad hoc duties and projects as required
- **REQUIREMENTS**_
- Experience of working as part of a payroll team with multiple payrolls
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
- Experience of Sage Payroll is essential
- Experience of Focus would be advantageous
- Experience of D365 would be advantageous
- Good knowledge of Microsoft, particularly Excel
**Please note this role is a fully office based.**
