ROLE: Software Tester
WORKING HOURS: Full time (37.5 hrs per week)
SALARY: £30,000 - £45,000 DOE + 24 days holiday + 5 % pension
LOCATION: Coventry Hybrid Working
We are looking for an software tester to own the testing process of this company's world class software solution. The nature of this solution means you would be working with some of the largest multi-national corporations on the planet, supporting the implementationteam by testing the solution and ensuring it adheres to the client requirements.
It is a mature software solution that provides full control over all aspects of intercompany creation, transfer pricing, automated settlement and advanced accounting through a 'non-intrusive' product set that provides both functionality and flexibility.
We are looking for someone who is not afraid to learn new things and to grow with the role eventually owning testing within the organisation.
The main responsibilities are as follows:

- Coordinate with technical team where development changes are required
- Coordinate with functional SMEs about nature of changes
Required Skills and Experience
- Exposure to and knowledge of software testing techniques
- Logical thinking - demonstrate a methodical, thorough, and consistent approach to software testing
- Have a curious and inquisitive mind - question why something is done that way; create ways to break things
- Be a problem solver - able to take nebulous requirements and generate viable solutions
- Able to work with numbers - while formal accounting training is not required, you will be working with financial accounting software
- Be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team and be able communicate with both developers and functional SMEs
Advantageous Skills and Experience
- Previous software testing experience
- Experience and understanding of Agile methodology in software development or project management
- SQL - ideally Oracle but could be MySQL or Microsoft
- API and webservice experience
- Knowledge of financial accounting
