**What the opportunity looks like**:
Supporting the Sustainability Lead and Quality and Environment Manager to provide hands on and practical sustainability support to deliver the Whyte and Mackay 5-year strategy pillar “Working for our Sustainable future” and Sustainability goals that includes the 2030 Carbon neutral objective.

To accurately gather and maintain sustainability data across all functions of Whyte and Mackay.

To actively participate in delivering our Carbon Neutral objective and to assist in supporting water stewardship of the ecosystems in which our distilleries operate.

This role will work alongside the Packaging Sustainability Coordinator to support in delivering against all company sustainability goals.
- To accurately gather and maintain sustainability data across all functions.
- Collect carbon tracking data and maintain trackers.
- Identify and help implement opportunities to install sustainable green energy solutions by site to ensure Green Print targets are met.
- Develop energy maps to gain understanding of energy saving opportunities and where waste energy can be re-used.

**Skills and experience that will help you be a success**:
For this role we're looking for:

- A strong understanding in environment, sustainability and energy efficiency.
- A full UK driving license is essential.
- Basic knowledge of Environment and Sustainability regulations and initiatives.
- Understanding of distilleries or other energy intensive industries is desirable.
