**About Bamboo Dental**:
Bamboo Dental is a popular private cosmetic dental practice based in Cardiff. We offer a range of cosmetic dental treatments such as teeth straightening (including Six Month Smiles and Invisalign), veneers and composite bonding. We are a nine-time award winning friendly team with five surgeries and one of the most popular practices in South Wales and the South West.

**Dental Receptionist job role**:
To play a key role in looking after the whole patient journey, driving the uptake of treatment plans and educating patients on the value of Bamboo Dental’s treatments. You will work as a team to provide exceptional customer service to existing and prospective patients. The role will include, but not limited to, picking up and answering enquiries, talking through treatments with existing and prospective patients to ensure uptake, working on the reception desk welcoming in patients and liaising with clinicians with regards to treatment plans.

**Dental Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator key responsibilities**:

- Be the first point of contact for existing and new patients to discuss treatment options and provide advice with clear and honest information.
- Encourage uptake of consultations and treatments for new patients by looking after new enquiries.
- Support patients through the whole journey through effective communication.
- Actively follow up any outstanding queries and treatments.
- Effectively use the systems in place to book or change appointments in line with patients or clinicians’ needs.
- Cover reception when needed in welcoming in patients to the practice.
- Work as a team with other receptionists to cover each other’s duties when required.

**Dental Receptionist Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a dental practice required.
- Personable, with an ability to build rapport quickly with prospective and existing patients.
- Strong negotiation skills to drive treatment uptake.
- Excellent knowledge of cosmetic dental treatments such as (Invisalign, Six Month Smiles, veneers, implants, teeth whitening and composite bonding).
- Excellent organisation skills with great attention to detail to keep track of enquiries and outstanding treatments.
- An ability to bring energy and enthusiasm to any situation and always act with honesty and integrity.
- A “can-do” attitude, with the desire to learn new skills, take on new challenges and show initiative.
- Proficient use of IT systems such as SOE or equivalent and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comfortable with handling patient personal data in accordance with data protection and GDPR guidelines.
- Prepared to work according to the practice systems and brand standards.
- A professional appearance.
- Previous sales experience in some setting would be advantageous.
