We are a supporter owned professional football club currently competing in League one of the EFL. As a supporter owned club through the Exeter City Supporters' Trust and under Trust ownership Exeter City has gone from strength to strength. The Company has agreed a strategic plan which has as its objective a vision of being a sustainable member of League One. The strategy to deliver this vision is based on three operational pillars:

- Player development building on a very successful youth Academy
- Increased matchday attendance and commercial revenues
- Operational efficiency

Working as part of our Stewarding team you will report to our Safety Officer and be responsible for assisting with the delivery of an enjoyable and safe experience for all customers/audiences. You will be required to maintain a high level of customer care and provide practical assistance both inside and outside of the venue. You will be representing the Club, so it is essential you present yourself and the Club in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Stewards must have excellent communication skills as you will need to undertake instructions from the Safety Officer, Deputy Safety Officer and Steward Supervisors. You will also need to be capable of directing any communication e.g., any safety issues and customer feedback through the correct channels effectively and efficiently.

A professional appearance is essential ensuring care and attention of personal presentation, and a good level of physical fitness/mobility is required as the role involves long periods of standing.

Applicants must be 18 years+ and have or be able to achieve an NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety within one year of accepting post or as soon as practicable thereafter.

Hours will primarily be weekends and evenings and will vary based on home matches as well as other events we may host throughout the year. Hours may fit around other commitments offering flexibility and making this role a fantastic opportunity
