Stores Runner

A Stores Runner is required to work as part of the team at our Penrith Depot providing support to the operational workforce by transporting materials, plant, tools and traffic management equipment to and from construction sites.

**What you will be doing**:

- Providing support with all stores activities at the depot
- Clearing sites of barriers, signs and any surplus materials and ensuring their return to the relevant depot
- Transferring and delivering materials between construction sites
- Keeping records using our bespoke in-house system to ensure accurate stock levels are maintained

**What we ask from you**:

- Engage with the team to succeed together whilst working within timescales, when you’re not on the road, you may be helping your colleagues in the depot
- A full UK driving licence **(towing experience is essential)**:

- Genuine care for the needs of customers and colleagues
- Good communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with everyone
- Strong problem solving skills
- Be our driving force, who love what they do and take pride in their job whilst representing our business out on the roads
- Fork lift truck licence, First Aid, Manual Handling and NRSWA (Streetworks) and knowledge of gas, water and electrical fittings is preferable
