Zenith People are looking to recruit a Financial Graduate to work at its client site in Washington. The purpose of the role is to be involved in the controlling of a plant in order to guarantee and optimise the plant’s financial performance and competitiveness.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance to all financial procedures
- Develop, execute and control internal finance procedures including spending authorisation in accordance with Group procedures and policies
- Ensure site activities are compliant with finance related procedures (product flow, inventory, routings, etc.) and Internal Control Basics
- Provide reliable financial/controlling information
- Participate in financial forecasting processes, providing data for budget, periodic forecast
- Collect and manage data consolidation and reporting, ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and delay compliance
- Update information into the ERP System
- Ensure reliability of standard costing
- Contributing to controlling analysis including variance analysis/standard costs, margin/programs, plant budgetary control
- Collaborate with Shared Service Centre obtaining/providing proper finance information
- Contribute to the control and management of the plants operating cashflow
- During the pursuit of all duties the Code of Ethics and Code of Management will be adhered to at all time
- Supporting all financial aspects
- Supporting the financial management/control of the plant including:

- Tracking turnover
- P&L
- Analysis of profitability
- Business planning
- Supporting quotation preparation and analysistracking budget vs actual from quotation to production (per programme, per part)
- Closing for month end - including aspects such as transport costs, agency staff usage, checking and reconciliation of invoices
- Monitoring of performance against KPIs
- Utilisation of SAP system
- Production of daily management information for ‘Top 5’ meeting - sales, scrap, production volumes, head count, etc.
- Communication with other departments on finance related issues.
- A graduate - preferably in finance or management (accountancy will be considered)
- Strong IT skills - particularly Excel
- A good mixer who gets on with people and possesses strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical
- Someone who is able to be autonomous and proactive

**Job Types**: Full-time, Graduate

**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year
