**Head Housekeeper - Required at Beech Lodge Nursing Home in Holbeach, Part of the Country Court Family**

**Hours: 37.5 hours per week working weekends on a rota. (Shift Times 0900-1700)**

As the first-ever Country Court Home, Beech Lodge is a family-led nursing home located in Holbeach, Lincolnshire. Our fantastic team lead by Anu the Manager, get to know each resident individually and they become part of the family.

**ABOUT YOU**
Do you thrive on maintaining the highest standards of hygiene? We are looking for friendly and caring Head Housekeeper to join us making the different to the lives of our residents.
- You will have experience in a previous housekeeping/cleaning role
- At least 1 years working in as a Head Housekeeper or in a similar management role in cleaning/housekeeping
- Have initiative and are respectful towards residents, staff and visitors to the home.
- The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge or understanding of the care sector

**ABOUT THE HEAD HOUSEKEEPER ROLE**

Within your role as Head Housekeeper, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Here are some of the responsibilities:

- Manage standards for cleaning of residents clothing, as well as ironing & return of clothing to residents by housekeeping team
- Recruit, manage and supervise your team of hardworking housekeepers to achieve and maintain 5-star standards
- Maintain & manage standards for surface cleaning, whilst following company procedures and standards
- Complete monthly rotas, always ensuring home is fully staffed and within allocated hours.
- Build and maintain working relationships with Managers and colleagues, care and non-care
- Help new colleagues through the induction process and complete all areas to the highest standard.
- Responsible for ordering monthly stock for the home, ensuring the home is adequately stocked with the correct chemicals, PPE and within budget.
