The UK Student Recruitment and Widening Participation team (within the division of External Relations) is looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with young people to join the team in order to encourage social mobility and address educational inequality.

You will have a creative approach and experience of working with young people, teachers and schools/colleges, and you will coordinate outreach projects and activities designed to raise attainment and broaden the aspirations of students from widening participation (WP) backgrounds. You will also liaise with key contacts to monitor the progress of students participating in these activities and provide constructive feedback to maximise their learning so that they are able to achieve their potential, irrespective of barriers.

The capability and flexibility to work some weekends and evenings is an essential element of the role, along with a willingness to travel across the North West and occasionally further afield within the UK.

Please note: This role requires an Enhanced DBS with Barred List Check. We will therefore be asking you to complete an Enhanced DBS Check as part of the recruitment process for this role.
