Waiter/waitress

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Hospitality professional, to fill a full-time, permanent position as Restaurant Supervisor at The Chainbridge Hotel.

Experience in fast-paced Hospitality settings is essential (busy restaurants, hotels or food-led pubs).

We want a hands-on, self-motivated and meticulous person to join our team & lead our restaurant. You should have experience of managing bookings, liaising with guests, establishing and settling customer bills, managing & motivating colleagues, cash handling, dealing with requests from the kitchen team, as well as good knowledge of food safety & dietary requirements in food settings.

We will operate a four day week from November - March, and a seven day a week operation from March - October, meaning that there is more time off in the quieter winter months. This role will be a minimum of 25 hours per week through the off-season and 35-45 hours per week in the peak season, and we are looking for a long-term post; somebody who wishes to come and be part of the team, and take the hotel's food and beverage offering to the next level.

We have a good reputation for customer service, which, teamed with our amazing location, make the hotel a popular destination for day guests and overnight visitors throughout the year. We also host weddings and functions, and we are seeking an all-rounder who can manage the restaurant's day to day activities as well as larger functions.

Must haves:

- experience in, and a passion for, the restaurant business
- your own transport
- willingness to work flexible hours, including most weekends
- desire to motivate and lead a team
