Hybrid Working - Split between remote and office based after training/probation period.

An opportunity has arisen within a reputable and long established Financial Advice company for a Paraplanner to join an excellent and successful team. Working in collaboration with Financial Advisers, Paraplanners and colleagues, you will prepare recommendationsand produce suitability reports, including implementing recommendations and reviewing the client’s financial affairs, and preparing and maintaining client records.

**About the role**:
This role is a hybrid role, meaning your time will be split between remote working and being in the office. The role will involve promoting the company’s services in a professional and FCA compliant manner.

You will make a positive contribution through your support of the team, work consistently and collectively through regular communication, sharing of information, job shadowing, on the job support etc.

Core duties and responsibilities:

- Working in collaboration with Financial Advisers and other colleagues to effectively handle queries from clients and other parties, demonstrating effective communication skills.
- Ensure client communication is recorded, whether it is written, oral or electronic, including client related communications with third parties.
- Collaborating with a client’s Financial Adviser, you will collect and collate information about, and from, the client in accordance with the principle of ‘know your client’ and ensure correct compliance documentation is obtained.
- Compile financial planning reports based on the clients’ objectives, identify and obtain necessary information.
- Assist Financial Advisers in identifying areas for planning and identifying solutions suitable to meet the client’s needs.
- Review client’s investment portfolio, asset allocation, risk profile etc.
- Obtain information, quotes, illustrations and product details, and provide comparisons for analysis.
- Prepare suitability letters and reports for approval by the Senior Paraplanner and the Financial Adviser in line with company policy, and prepare associated documentation as required. This will include the pre-completion of documentation ready for clientsto check and sign.
- Assist and support with administrative duties, as needed, such as: new business processing, re balances, organising meetings with the client on the Financial Adviser’s behalf.
- Commit to continuous personal development, keep your knowledge up to date and retain supporting records for review.

**About you**:
You will able to collaborate and communicate with your colleagues effectively, as it is highly important that the Financial Advisers, Paraplanners and Administrators work cohesively as a strong team in order to assist clients. Irrespective of whether ornot the Financial Adviser is available. You will be expected to cover for colleagues who may be absent.

You will have experience of maintaining good working relationships in the delivery of financial advice services, or a similar environment. You will have experience in writing complex and detailed reports for cases, and be able to manage your own time efficiently.

Your knowledge and experience:

- Ability to work within defined business processes, maintain a professional and FCA compliant service.
- Experience in writing complex and detailed reports for cases.
- Experience in working with various pension and investment providers extranets.
- Ability to assess information, make comparisons, and identify critical features.
- Ability to contribute to, and support, the delivery of a training programme.
