Workshop Cleaner

Tidyco is a family run engineering company based in Derby since 1973 and looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual to join our current team.

We are currently recruiting for a general Labourer / Cleaner to support the current engineering team in our busy rail overhaul workshop.

**Responsibilities**:

- Undertake pressure washing on a variety of rail units, fans, HVAC units etc
- General cleaning duties of the workshop areas / floors
- Assist with stripping of rail units when they arrive into the workshop
- Clean parts and units once they have been stripped
- Prepare parts ready for the Engineering team to begin work
- Move parts between the two units based on site (outside work will be involved in this)
- Other general housekeeping duties as requested.

**Skills**:

- Previous experience within a similar role
- Effective and professional communication skills
- Ability to work to own initiative
- Be able to work well individually and as part of a team
- Be able to prioritise workload
- Enthusiastic and reliable.
