Sen Tutor

**The Opportunity**

We are currently looking for a Tutor to provide Maths, English and Science support to an SEN student, who requires tuition for 2 hours a week at the local library. The tutor will be required to assess the student's current ability and then work closelywith them to plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge the gaps in the pupil's education. **_The tuition needs to be face to face._**

We are looking for people with a passion for working with children and young people with SEN, challenging behaviour, and/or disabilities.

**Position Details**:
**DETAILS**
- **Loc**: Blackfen Library, Sidcup, DA15 9LU
- **Age**: Year 8
- **Subjects**: Maths, Eng, Science
- **Hours**: 15 hours per week
- **Timetable**: Tues, Weds, Thurs, Friday. Any time between 9.30am-3.30pm
- **Duration**: will be in place until a school placement is found
- **SEN**: behavioural, anxiety.

**Experience, Training and Qualifications**:

- QTS or equivalent
- Possess UK classroom teaching experience
- Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
- Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils

**To be eligible for this role, the potential ESOL**
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Provide two professional child-related references.
