An exciting opportunity for a qualified level 3 practitioner to join our 30 place Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ nursery. We are looking for an experienced practitioner, preferably with SENCO training but not a deal breaker and experience, to join our highly motivated, friendly and enthusiastic team. You will be responsible for a small key group of 6 children.
- a genuine passion for working in Early Years.
- a good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
- a good understanding of Child Protection and Safeguarding.
- excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- good written and oral English with a minimum requirement of GCSE grade C.
**We offer**:
- Salary - between £22,000 - £25,000 depending on experience and qualification.
- Hours of work - 40 hours a week (which includes a 1 hour’s (paid) lunch break).
- 20 days holiday plus all bank holidays (8 days) PLUS Christmas closure (we do not open between 24th December and the 1st working day in January). 1 day’s extra holiday is given in lieu of monthly staff meetings which are held on the 1st Wednesday of every month between 6-7 pm (approx 35 days)
- Your main shift will be 10-6pm but there are other shifts (8-4 or 9-5) that you may be required to work from time to time.
