**About Unilode**

**Position Overview**

The Forklift Driver is responsible for operating power industrial trucks for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting pallets and ULD’s. This position is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and accurate storing, shipping and receiving to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity.

**General Responsibilities**
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage pallets, ULD’, or other materials using a forklift.
- Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- On a daily basis, inspect and advise manager/supervisor of any maintenance needed on the forklift.
- Clean up and dispose of boxes, packing material, and pallets, as well as general housekeeping of facility.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and safety measures.
- Maintain an active forklift certification as required.
- Manual handling of containers and pallets.
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Valid forklift license and a good driving record with at least one year of experience.
- Experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
- Forklift experience.
