**Do you have previous experience working within the Aerospace industry?**

**Do you have experience in repairing aircraft components of recent?**

Aircraft Fitter required to join our client on an initial 12 month contract located near Saffron Walden.

As an Aircraft Fitter you will be responsible for carrying out repairs on aircraft components, flaps, nacelles, doors, and flying controls.

You must be capable of the following tasks, on components such as Flight control surfaces, Engine Inlets, Fan cowls, Thrust Reverser, Landing gear, PAX doors and other aircraft components:

- Fabrication and installation of Flush repair doublers to Inlet and flight control leading edge Skins and be able to use all tooling associated with the fabrication of repairs.
- Replacement of Inlet Lip skin segments & flight control surface Skin Panels.
- Removal & Replacement of subassemblies - riveted or bolted.
- Be able to read, understand and use all Technical data, SRM, CMM etc.
- Have the relevant hand skills to carry out all required tasks on the job assigned to them.
- Be able to prioritise tasks on the unit they have been assigned.

Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00am - 16:30pm

40 hours per week - Regular overtime is available. up to 55/60 hours per week

Contract Type: Full time, temporary ongoing.

Previous experience on repairs is essential for this role.
- Previous experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience of aircraft repairs
- Strong attention to detail.

**Salary**: From £24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
