This is an exciting time to join us; we're on a significant growth trajectory and as our product range and distribution expands, we seek a strategic leader to join us as the **Head of Information Technology (IT)**. We are a rapidly growing team with a number of key hires joining the business this year and big growth plans that will take us to the next level with the retail and e-commerce space.

Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, your strategic vision will shape Trtl significantly, helping us push boundaries and develop as a growing business. In this role, you will lead our small team of data, software and IT professionals, driving technological advancements that enhance our operational efficiency and customer experience.

**What Will You Be Doing?**:
As the **Head of Information Technology (IT)**, you will:
**IT Strategy**: work with the senior leadership team to develop and agree a comprehensive IT strategy for the next 3+ years which aligns with and supports our business strategy and planned growth. Create a delivery roadmap and oversee timely implementation of the agreed strategy, whilst retaining flexibility to innovate and adapt to emerging technologies and opportunities.

**Team Leadership and Development**: lead and develop a team with the capabilities and growth mindsets to effectively deliver our defined IT strategy and support teams across the business to achieve key KPIs. Establish clear objectives and plans for personal and professional growth.

**Applications and Software Development**:Develop and implement processes and methodologies to support the design and delivery of high-quality software within a culture of continuous improvement. Lead evaluation of options for ERP platforms/ disparate off the shelf systems and define our build vs. buy policy.

**Cybersecurity**:Implement and maintain security best practices, including establishment and enforcement of effective device management software, policies and vulnerability testing to ensure the security of our internal network.

**Data Reporting**: Manage and centralise our data sources, leading development of a clear strategy for data management and reporting. Identify and manage appropriate platforms for data analysis and visualisation to support effective decision making by senior leadership and other business teams.

**Service Delivery and Desktop Support**: Establish and maintain an effective helpdesk facility, with defined processes for logging tickets and providing software support as well as establishment of user IDs and access protocols.

**Who Are We Looking For?**:

- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within IT or associated discipline, preferably in the e-commerce industry. Ideally, you will have experience in a growing or developing business with eagerness to develop in your role.
- Experience of managing teams with demonstrated ability to lead and inspire technical teams as well as cross-functional project teams.
- Strong technical expertise across a broad range of technologies, including but not limited to website and marketplace platforms (Shopify, Ordoro), cloud computing, software development, data management, and cybersecurity. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practice across these areas is desirable and hands on experience with big data and software development would be beneficial.
- Ability to think strategically and to take an entrepreneurial interest in emerging technologies with experience leveraging new capabilities to provide a ‘first to market’ solution.
- Ability to plan and deliver change effectively, prioritising initiatives to ensure delivery of our longer term roadmap as well as shorter term wins whilst demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving when required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including presenting to senior leadership teams.
- Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budget management, and project management.
- Desire and ability to be a 'hands-on' leader in an entrepreneurial, growth environment, making and acting on quick decisions within a responsive, agile business.
