Our technology leader Client is recruiting for a Project Management Head. As a Project Management expert you will naturally looking for that next step in overseeing and managing projects alongside the projects of your team of managers.
**Role Overview**
Driven by re-organisation of the EMEA Management team, a vacancy for an EMEA Projects Lead Workplace has arisen.
With over 8 years’ experience of working in a client facing project/program environment the role holder supports, coaches and mentors the workplace project management team toward their personal development goals, (for team members), and continuous service improvement,(for the business).
This role holds no budgetary accountability/responsibility outside of the projects P&L but will be asked to input into annual budgeting cycle for aspects relating to the team they own, alongside a need to provide a business case for any new hire requirements.
**Primary responsibilities of the role with include but not be limited to.**
Day to day line management of Project Management team in line with prescribed framework
Experience of supporting team members in their creation of their own Personal Development Plans, (PDP)
Coaching and mentoring of the Project Management team in support of the day-to-day challenges and achieving their PDP
First point of management escalation for Workplace PM Team
Review project delivery methods with a specific focus on potential to implement "agile" delivery frameworks.
Delivery of Workplace projects, and providing support to larger bids (circa 40 - 50% of day)
Devise and deploy an environment of continual improvement.
Input into and delivery of a strategic road map in support of further development of the workplace delivery capability
Performs regular quality audits on closed projects to assess quality and consistency of delivery across the team.
**Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills**:
8+ years’ experience of working in a client facing, technical project delivery environment

**Desirable Knowledge, Experience and Skills**:
Familiarity with project delivery in a construction environment
Holds a recognised project management certification.
Has experience of designing and building metrics & KPIs to monitor team performance.
Experience of delivering business transformation/change projects
Experience of embedding an ERP implementation into project delivery teams
