TG Precision is looking to fill the position of CNC Operator to work within a small sub-contract precision engineering company.

**The Job Specification**:
Operating 3, 4 and 5 Axis CNC machines with HIEDENHAIN and FANUC controls to produce one-off bespoke items and small batch production quantities of precision components.
- Be self-motivated to machine parts efficiently to a high quality
- Interpret and produce parts to drawing specification
- Work to tight tolerances and self-inspect work throughout production
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safe working practices having due regard to the Company’s Health and Safety Policy

**The following attributes are required**:
Understanding & experience of CNC machining and how it works in terms of set up in a small to medium volume production environment
- Apprenticeship trained in precision engineering / CNC machining
- The ability to review and recommend ways to make products more cost effective
- Self-motivation and confidence to work alone and as part of a team whilst under pressure to achieve deadlines / schedules

**Benefits**:

- 4 weeks (156 hours) paid holiday per year increasing with length of service
- Plus 8 days paid public holidays
- Working 39 hours over 4 days Monday - Thursday
- Overtime is often available

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
