**Responsibilities**:

- Lease negotiation and property management for non-operational and commercial property portfolio land and buildings
- Undertaking asset valuations of land and buildings across the corporate portfolio including the re-valuation of all assets on a 5-year cyclical basis
- The acquisition and disposal of land and property assets including assisting in the transfer of assets under the Council’s Community Asset Transfer programme - Assisting with the maintenance of the Council’s Asset Register and managing land and property information on the Corporate Asset Management system
Person Profile
- Essential:

- Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors - Current valid driving licence
- Experience in general practice/land agency division of the surveying profession
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work both individually and as part of a small and close-knit team.
- High level communication skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels both face to face and by telephone and Microsoft Teams
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and use initiative in day-to-day duties
- Desirable:

- Appreciation and understanding of the format and working methods of local government.
- Well-developed IT skills.

Although this post is currently based at home due to the pandemic, Stirling Council are working on a hybrid working model which will allow a mixture of home and office working.
