This company is a Civil Engineering business in the Peterborough area. They have 30 years of experience in the industry and have grown a reputation for providing a cost-effective and quality service.
**The Role**:
As a Project Manager you will have the opportunity to take real ownership of the works being undertaken by the business. You will manage projects from cradle to grave, overseeing the sourcing and development of relationships with new clients through to evaluatingthe success of the project upon completion.
**Day to day activity will include**:

- Creating and developing relationships with new and existing clients.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the project ensuring that it meets the client's needs.
- Organising all people working on the project including employees and sub-contractors.
- Conducting risk assessments and writing/approving method statements.
- Conducting safety audits to ensure KPIs are met.
- Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing of projects.
- Reporting to clients and senior stakeholders on progress.
- Evaluate the success of the project against its benchmarking and implementing improvements for future processes.

**What is required**:

- Project Management experience in a relevant industry eg. High pressure gas/oil pipelines, civil engineering, deep excavating, water.
- Training/knowledge of CDM Regulations, SMSTS, Temporary Works Coordinator, First Aid at Work, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, COSHH Awareness.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Management/leadership skills and a willingness to develop teams.
