**Full-time: 35 hours per week, part time will be considered (minimum 28 hours).**

**Fixed-term: for 10 weeks; starting 3rd June 2024 - 9th August 2024**

**Internships available: minimum 25
**The Opportunity:
The internship will be 10 weeks starting on the 3rd June. There will be around 25 interns working on projects from areas all over the School.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time (minimum 28 hours). We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

- School of Engineering undergraduate student.
- Good knowledge of relevant engineering field and completion of required courses.
- An understanding of the technical skills and topics useful to the project and ability to identify and solve problems within the current project.
- Can work effectively in teams. Good oral and written communication skills.

**Programme Information**

The School of Engineering Internship Programme offers a minimum of 20 summer internships at within the School for 2nd year to penultimate year undergraduate students from the School of Engineering at The University of Edinburgh. In addition to the project work the interns will be supported through a programme of events run by the School. There will also be the opportunity to take part in events run by the Careers Service.
