- Undertaking fire risk assessments Type 1,2,3,4 and fire safety strategies in high-rise residential and/or commercial buildings.
- Undertaking surveys of compartmentation and fire stopping, and making recommendations.
- Supporting our clients with their safety cases.
- Implementing fire safety advice and site management systems, audits and reviews.
- Designing fire management plans and fire safety strategies for existing buildings.
- Creating fire safety solutions across a range of sites (varying in complexity) within the built environment.
- Working with colleagues across Ark to contribute to new projects and developments - we have an open culture and are always looking to share and expand on our knowledge

**TO APPLY, WE NEED TO SEE THE FOLLOWING FROM YOU;**
- Experience working as a Fire Safety Manager and/or Fire Safety Consultant.
- Extensive experience in undertaking fire specialist work e.g. fire strategies, fire management plans, complex fire risk assessments and type 4
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent report writing abilities to deliver client reports in accordance with a forensic and pragmatic approach.
- Comprehensive understanding of current UK regulations.
- A qualification in fire safety or membership with a recognised fire safety body is essential e.g. **MIFSM, MIFireE.**:

- Are you on one of the Fire Risk Assessment’s competencies registers? **TFRAR or equivalent.**:

- Working towards Fire safety degree or equivalent in education.
- At least two years’ experience in residential property completing complex fire risk assessments and fire strategies.
- Working knowledge of relevant building regulations, BS9991, BS9999
- Dedicated to CPD

**JOB SPECIFICS**
- For this role you would be considered an expert in fire safety and strategy.
- The majority of our work is in and around London. This role also has a national remit and you will be required to travel outside of London from time to time, so you must have the flexibility and willingness to travel as required.
