Locum Consultant Palliative Care

Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide expert advice and support in the delivery of palliative care.
- Provide assessment and management of complex palliative care needs.
- Develop care plans for patients and families, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.
**Requirements**:
- A degree in medicine or nursing or equivalent
- Postgraduate qualifications in palliative care or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in palliative care, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
- Experience in managing complex symptoms, psychosocial and spiritual issues associated with palliative care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with healthcare professionals from different disciplines.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary package, commensurate with experience. The consultant will be based in our facility, but may be required to travel to other locations as necessary.
