Operations Director

We are currently working in partnership with one of the UK’s largest Civil Engineering companies. Due to growth within the telecoms division they are looking to strengthen the senior leadership team. The position will involve overseeing established FTTHframework contracts.

- As Operations Director you will be responsible for overseeing framework contracts with a value in excess of £60M per annum
- Management and delegation with staff and contractors across departments including operations, streetwork and commercial
- Responsible for planning, performance management and process improvement to ensure efficient project operations
- Management and reporting of KPI's with the client
- Understanding contract scope and opportunities
- Providing an honest view of the company performance
- Commercial awareness
- Overseeing a heat map of issues with clients
- Risk management with clients
- Demonstrating performance and identifying improvement
- Improving client perceptions
- **Requirements**_
- Previous experience of operating at a senior level in the telecoms industry on FTTH is essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to delegate at all levels across various departments
- Excellent programme and performance management skills
