A great opportunity has arisen to join Suffolk County Council's Coastal Health and Children’s Centre Team as a **Support and Information Officer **working at Leiston Family Hub.

Suffolk’s Community Health Team (0-19) provides services for both prospective and existing parents/carers, children, and young people, focusing on the earliest point of intervention to enable the best outcomes for children.

**You will**:

- support the team with administration and initial face-to-face contact
- work with the Health and Children’s Centre Service to promote the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual well-being of children from pregnancy to 5 years
- deliver the Healthy Child Programme through the Children’s Centre Statutory Framework.

**You will be**:

- providing reception, general administration and facility management
- providing information, guidance and advice to colleagues, partners and directly to children, young people and families to ensure they are enabled to achieve the best possible outcomes
- part of a team whose purpose is to meet the needs of children from pre-birth to 5 years and their families, supporting the delivery of the Healthy Child programme.

**You will need**:

- a suitable level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics or equivalent experience or evidence of skills
- a good level of communication skills (written and verbal)
- the ability to provide advice and information with clarity and impartiality to meet the needs of the recipient.
