- The Technical Learning Consultant will work with our Learning and Development team and will partner with senior leaders, SMEs and Software Engineers in Liberty IT to design and deliver technical learning programmes for current and emerging technology requirements. You will be a leader to and help establish a Liberty IT technical advocacy group who will passionately share their technical knowledge and successes at local and international technology events.**Experience and skills we need**:
- A minimum of 7 years experience in designing and delivering technical learning programmes using the ADDIE model or similar.
- Experience in building internal learning capabilities through partnership with SMEs and leaders
- Proven stakeholder and vendor management skills and experience
- Knowledge and exposure to current and emerging technology trends. Previous experience in developing learning programmes for new technology trends.
- Extensive experience in designing and delivering learning content, adopting a suitable communication style for your audience.

**What you’ll be doing**:
- The Technical Learning Consultant is a leadership role at Liberty IT, with responsibilities across the following areas**Technical Learning**.
- Foster the growth of future technical and digital skills ensuring the Liberty IT technical learning strategy supports over business needs and objectives.
- Assess learning needs to identify the specific learning needs of the Liberty IT organisation.
- Analyse skills gaps for current and future technical requirements.
- Manage the delivery of technical learning programmes and projects.
- Continuously research and assess emerging technologies and their potential impact on Liberty IT Engineering practices and requirements.
- Partner with SMEs and Tech Leads to design and deliver technical learning programmes that meet the current and emerging technology learning needs of Liberty IT Engineers.
- Facilitate and deliver learning sessions and workshops to provide instruction on various IT technical topics.
- Build Liberty IT learning capabilities and train SMEs on content development and delivery
- Serve as a thought leader in innovative learning practices, trends, and methodologies, integrating them into learning initiatives. Educate senior leaders on current thoughts.
- Work with SMEs to curate learning content for technical skills development e.g. LinkedIn learning.
- Act as a leading internal figurehead for tech learning, promoting the benefits of continuous learning and skill development for future tech trends
- Encourage a company-wide culture of continuous technical learning, nurturing tech curiosity, and knowledge sharing
**LIT technology brand advocacy**
- passionately promote the Liberty IT technology brand externally
- Establish a technology brand advocacy group and train and guide participants in content design and delivery for local and international technology conferences.
- Collaborate with the communication and marketing team to generate engaging and innovative tech-related learning content for internal and external channels.
- Represent Liberty IT in industry events and forums as a thought leader and proponent of emerging technology adoption and our technology-based learning and development strategy
