You will work closely with the Staff Network chairs, members and the Workforce Improvement Lead in providing support with coordinating events, including their members, meetings, and events as well as focusing on the Inclusion Calendar and Staff Experience events across the year.

The trust comprises of 3 sites; Watford, Hemel Hempstead and St Albans. The post holder will be based at Watford General Hospital but will occasionally be required to travel to St Albans and Hemel Hempstead to support with engagement and events.

**A summary for main duties include**:
Provide administrative support to the Staff Network Chairs including procuring promotional material; diarising key events; booking venues/refreshments; drafting information/promotional communications; and liaising with key stakeholders to ensure successful promotion of events within a timely manner.

Deal with external and internal queries. This may include providing complex or sensitive non-clinical information or advice to colleagues.

Pass on messages as appropriate to the relevant person in a timely manner.

Use initiative to deal with day to day queries that may arise, and only exceptionally refer more complex issues to the appropriate person

Manage your own workload to ensure completion of the full range of your tasks using the knowledge, skills, and experience you have gained. Support other team members to undertake the full range of administrative activities.

To co-ordinate, organise and administer the staff network/ EDI events including detailed planning and co-ordination across a wide range of external professionals and providers

Assist the Staff Experience team with the preparation, distribution, monitoring and maintenance of the Trust’s EDI action plan, escalating outstanding actions to a successful completion.
