We are looking for friendly, approachable and reliable Assistants/Barista’s to join the retail team at the world first airside Electric Forecourt in Gatwick to deliver excellent customer experience and support GRIDSERVE on the mission to reach Net Zero.

This is a part-time role of 20 hours a week.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver high quality coffee and food in accordance with brand excellence standards
- Deliver the highest levels of customer service encouraging positive customer feedback and sales
- Resolve customer complaints where possible or refer to Assistant General Manager or General Manager where not possible
- Maintain excellent standards of health, safety and cleanliness in line with health and safety standards
- Support the team with new customer and sales initiatives
- Take responsibility for keeping up to date with and understanding all cascaded company and team specific information
- Operate the till in lie with cash handling process and procedures
- Utilise company learning platform to stay on top of all mandatory and optional development training

**Essential Skills and Experience Required**
- A genuine interest in GRIDSERVE, EV’s and sustainability
- Good verbal and communications skills
- Presentable professional appearance
- Able to work efficiently without close supervision and take initiative
- Able to multi-task an manage a busy and demanding workload at busier periods
- Must be flexible and willing to work hours ranging from 4:30am to 10pm

Our Forecourt will make Gatwick the first international airport in Europe to have its own dedicated electric vehicle station. The forecourt is one of the most technically advanced electric vehicle charging stations, powered by 100% renewable energy with a retail facility featuring a high-quality lounge for customers to use while their vehicles are charging. This also acts as an educational area, providing information about electric vehicles, solar energy generation and ecology.
